San Francisco here we come :D

The last few days we have been in a camp near Fortuna, we haven't had so much money so we have sleept in the car, the night here have been very cold but we are used to it because it's cold in Sweden. We haven't done so much just listened to music in the car and we took a swim in the ocean but it was very cold in the water but it was fun. Then our last day in Fortuna we went in to the town and got something to eat at a restaurang called Aztec Grill. We went back to the camp early because we drove to San Francisco early in the morning.

Now we are in San Francisco and we are happy to finally be here, it's a little bit warmer here so it's nice compeard to sweden. In our days here in San Francisco we have droved on the golden gate bridge and it was awesome, it's a very big bridge if you compeared to the bridges in Sweden our biggest bridge is öresundbron. After that we vissed ChinaTown and it is the biggest chinatown outside Asia also the oldest chinatown in North America. When we where there we learne more about attractions, culture, history and events. We learned a lot about chinese things and it was interesting a lot to take in but it was fun.

Now when i'm writtning these i'm sitting in our hotell room in San Francisco, we have stayed here for a few days and it's nice it is not so expensive so it's okej. We live in a hotell called The Amsterdam Hostel. Now i'm going to bed godnight folks.

Hello dear friends :)

Our camera

We have not had access to the internet so I will tell you a little about what we have done in recent days. We have been in both Portland and Six Rivers National Forest. Day two we went early in the morning to Portland, where we visited a very nice zoo with many different species of animals. It reminds me of Borås Zoo in Sweden when you see how the park is built, but Oregon Zoo was much larger and they also had more animals, it was better in every way. The next day we just went around and checked out the town. We ate at MacDonald's and slept in the car these days because we do not want to waste too much money here, we'd rather save to Las Vegas.

When we were in the National Forest, we walked and camped there. We walked around all day but took several stops where we had food and just took a brake. We brought our lunch that we had bought the day before in Portland there we also bought a small tent so that we could camp in the woods. We did not do very much these days we were in the forest. It's a pretty big difference in the forest here and in Sweden because in Sweden we have more flat land and here we have more hills and mountains. It was very fun to be in a different environment than we usually are in.

We arrived to the Tacoma International Airport in Seattle today, and there we picked up our are pickup truck. We have chosen this car because it is not very common in Sweden and we need a pickup truck because we are going to sleep in the back of the car. The first thing we did was to drive in the city and find a restaurant.



We find a restaurant called Metropolitan Grill on Marion st & 2nd Ave, it was a little bit expensive but it was our first day in the U.S. The weather was very cold but we are used to that because it's often cold in Sweden. We decided to stay at The College Inn hotell because it seems to be a good place to stay at and it dosent need to be very expensive because we are only gonna stay there one night. So after we had eat at the Metropolitan Grill we went to go shopping. Then we drived to the hotell because we were supposed to get up early the day after and continue our trip to Portland.
